bob maier OP trapper B Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 401 walla walla ,washington	Making up some wolf snares, gonna use a 750# breakaway. As a 250# one will open by a wolf. Question is will a deer or elk be able to open a 750# breakaway?

The Beav trapper T Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 23,848 Wisconsin	If you put a loop stop on the snare so It will only close down to about 3" you should have no problems with leg caught deer or elk. The forum Know It All according to Muskrat
