Reds cache inside. Greys cache outside. Mice and rats inside. Chippies in their burrow.

Rodents cache food for winter.

I can't remember ever coming across a flyer cache in an attic. Where do they store their food?

Fly's have a very short life spanned. They lay eggs in warm areas and hatch out when it gets warm.

Flyers have multiple food caches'. I have found many small stashes of nuts and grain seeds in insulation over the years doing structural work. It seems they place their food randomly as are some of their feeding areas as well. I can find several random eaten nuts and shells the longer the occupation in a building.

Being there are usually multiple animals living in the same building/attic space I am sure each selects their own place to storing or caching their food.
