You got that right, Australia owns the toll rd here in Indiana that runs from Ohio to Illinois. How can a state not profit from a toll rd in the United States! To make it worse it was only supposed to be a toll rd for 7 years then convert to a state highway. That was probably 30 years ago!

Well yeah. One is an individual or company that is based in China investing money in real estate. The other is the Chinese government buying American soil. Big difference.

Why get POed at the seller? Not making that connection. A property was put up for sale, and a buyer produced funds. I don't like the whole idea myself, but I am angry towards our lawmakers that maybe should explore the why's, how's and how come's while looking out for America's best interests. And why is China not being strapped down with Covid 19 bills and costs from around the globe??? When the heck does China pay for what they have brought on the world? I do not think Covid 19 was a 100 % accident.

Should be a law, even when a front man is used, to nullify the sale.

Sure, and you could drive the perimeter a cup and a half of gas, heard of those lines before.

If us Americans have such a problem with it and truly believe in the market why didn't us Americans buy it? Can't be a capitalist only when its convenient....that would be crony-capitalism.

I don't know exactly where the 180,000 is but I know the area where I'm at south of DelRio near Quemado. It couldn't be quieter country. Ton of illegals and it's scary to be honest when you see dudes in army fatigues with bundle packs pile into the brush when they see my buggy. I have fire power and they have more so I stop, call border patrol, and we call in the calvary.... the chopper. It's a mess of a game that got SO MUCH BETTER under DJT. I won't trap it until mid-spring so by then, we'll see who is president and how the border if holding up. Literally.

TBO - I have seen very expensive jets buzz over me at 500 ft at a high speed and buzz back to MX within 10 minutes. Drug drop. You try and figure where they dropped because the guys picking these drops up.... do not play Joe Biden silly games. The country is vast and quiet and the Chinese in this area could fly anyone into their airstrip on the border in minutes.

Why do they want this land? They deer hunting now? There's no investment value per se?
It's like all the rest. Smells like a rat.
Easy in. Easy out. Quick. Quick. Quick. is my guess.
Ever hear, "under the radar?"
This is it.

Blessings,
Mark

Good try. You believe an enemy of the U.S.A. should have the right to purchase land bordering a military complex all in the name of capitalism? Do the words national security mean anything to you?
