Saint Jude, Salvation Army and have been looking for a good veterans organization where most of the monies go to the vets but I can't find one.

I give to local people or families that have needs. I try to give enough to make a meaningful difference. I don't attend a in a building church, so no "church" to tithe to, no salaries or building to maintain. So I have an account "storehouse" set aside to meet needs.

Thank you to those who donate to R McD House. We received their care when our eldest son was in the Mayo Clinic and Denver Children's Hospital. Sadly, he didn't make it, but R McD House was there for us and was a tremendous help in our darkest hour. I'd never heard of them before that.

Kind of off topic - but I see many of you donate to St Jude's - If you aren't familiar with how St Jude's was started it's an interesting story and well worth looking into - especially this time of the year.
