You may have posted this info and I just missed it but
1) How many traps were you running? 2) How much ground did you cover? 3) Did you ever recover all of your traps on drags?
Have a safe trip home
BTW I think 5 a day average is good 1 = About 80 traps was average sometimes more some times less . 2 = about 50000 acres total in 2 counties 3 = Heck no!! Lost 4 on drags Shot 1 running around WITH drag 3 days latter. Then had the cow eat the flagging that marked my trap locations . Lost 3 that way .SO all total i lost about 6 of my MB-550s

LT GREY. Glad you enjoyed it. Just got off phone with MR James Lucero about 10 mins ago. We were talking about a new set that will be going in his next book. I really hope he finishes his new book soon. I can't wait to read it! I will buy it when it is available

Has anyone used Lucero's lures in the cold and wet of the north? I've noticed that some lures work better in some climates than others, but have never tried Lucero's lures. Bearcat2. I have as most people know used Lucero's lures exclusively for past 4 years. Have averaged 300 plus coyotes a year And 406 coyotes last year. I can't tell you they will work in extreme cold. Because about 15 degrees is the coldest I have caught coyotes in. I'm a warm weather guy. BUT in rain these lures work!!!! Was on a coyote contract job for 14 days. It rain or was wet 12 of those days And still caught plenty of coyotes with James Lucero's lure

Has anyone used Lucero's lures in the cold and wet of the north? I've noticed that some lures work better in some climates than others, but have never tried Lucero's lures. Cannot say that I used them lately. Back when Mr. Lucero came out with the books and lures, I used his lures and baits quite a bit. I really liked them a lot for a few years. Had good luck on coyotes with them. When he stopped advertising for some reason I guessed he was retired. I liked the articles that had been written about him. Sounded like a down to earth guy. Loved his coyote book. Maine has about as crappy of weather to trap in as one can imagine. It is really a crap show most of the season. Most years, too much rain, too hot too late or too cold to early, freezing rain, sleet, snow etc., thaw/freeze, thaw/ freeze, then just rock hard freeze. It is awesome. I have a picture of a rather large Bobcat caught with his bait and lures. I am no great photographer but the picture came out good. It was late season, about 6 to 8 inches of snow on the ground, and snowing when I snapped the picture. The picture came out pretty cool. The set had been made for coyotes and was a very well blended baited flat set. Nothing visual. The set proper was about 20 yards from the wood line which is where the cats typically pass. Mac

Last flyer i have says lures run $8 oz He has new flyers now. Dont think he has 1 0z bottles anymore. Just 2 oz and 4 oz. I dont know price of 2 oz but 4oz is 25 dollars a bottle. If you call him , he will send you a flyer. He sent out about 100 or so to guys that order from him regularly. So just call him. You will enjoy talking to him!
