Anybody have a good trapping dog ? My Father's shaggy coat Jack Russel is really into it. He is Very well behaved and knows his commands. He will shag down a critter on a drag in a heart beat. About a month ago, I had a Yote in a dirt hole set and Rocket clamped on to his hamstring. The Yote didn't know what to do! Tug of War. Trap on one end, Rocket on the other!

My Gal's name is Ma Deuce.

this one hasn't tangled with a coyote yet but she sure is great to help you set on sign. heck she will find the spots where a yote (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) then mark it herself and I started realizing that is probably a good location to set a trap and have done well. she will find every pile of crap in a field in short order I just follow her around and set accordingly.

I have 6 month old female pup that I’m fixin to start. She’s very smart so I’m hoping for her to pick it up quick. I wanna use her to find drags. I don’t know how to post a pic of her or I would.

I think my next pooch will be a Oorang Airedale. The largest of the Terriers. (80 plus lbs). Bred for Bear, Lions, Hogs etc.... All of your terrier breeds are pretty hardcore.
