Congrats! It depends on humidity and temperature but not very long on a fox. Maybe 12 hrs wait until the skin side isn’t wet or tacky. They are thin skinned so be really careful turning them. If you dried it too much slowly rehydrate it until you can turn it. Don’t force it or it will tear. Start turning it with the nose end and not the tail.

Any good sets for remaking the original set.and by starting nose first you mean nose down the mouth and pull it down to the tail

I usually make a dirt hole for the remake, just use whatever rocks, sticks or grass clumps are around for the backing

Turn the nose into the mouth and turn it inside out all the way to the tail. The head end is a lot less likely to tear than the belly

Probably not gonna sell any furs this year I'm planning on having some stuff made with them might trade some coons for more mink hides
