Finally was able to go out in the boat to set the marten line. Only 12 days late. Weathers been that bad. Lots of people needing new Sheetrock for Christmas. Glad I put sump pumps in all my properties.

A good friend of mine lost his house there worth about $500k. No insurance coverage for landslide supposedly. He moved a couple years ago and was trying to sell the house. It's a significant part of his retirement assets.

That storm was the worst I can recall in the 48 years I have lived here. The nearest event that compares was the Thanksgiving storm in 1984, Tenakee got absolutely destroyed in that one. This last storm had rainfall coupled with winds that were unbelievable.
