do anything different with your extra time to do to shut downs etc. Did you learn a new skill or start a new hobby? I made bread this year for the first time. I also spent more time with my children and in the garden. I also got out of debt other than my house. 2020 wasn't all that bad.
No Jab.

Being an essential cabinet builder I seemed to work more OT this year than last. I expect that's about to come to a screeching halt here shortly.

I didn't have any extra time myself. Worked right through it like normal. I worked 40 hours a week instead of the normal 50. The time I saved was time not being in stores or public events.(festivals, concerts, gatherings, and such)

Was an awesome year. One son graduated high school and he started college. His team won the state baseball championship. He now pitches in college. Bought a new acreage, sold our old house. Ran two half marathons. Busy, busy, busy year at work. Mrs. Had rotator cuff surgery. I dislocated my shoulder, tore my bicep, triceps, pecs. Caught a lot of coyotes in short amount of time. Taught my boys how to skin them. (and how not to skin them ha ha) Did some beaver damage work. Found some rattlesnakes. Caught a lot of fish. Took some really cool trips through KS and IA. Spent a lot of time with family. Had an absolute ball. Met new friends. Drank a lot of beer. Watched a couple meteor showers, and that starlink satellite train too. Saw a tornado, too. Walked a jillion miles doing nightly trail walks with my wife. Best thing we did together by far. Can't wait to see what next year brings!!!

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

We worked more O.T. at the mill as lumber prices were stupid high. Between work and selling our house and trying to get a manufactured home set up on our property not much time for anything else. My wife and kids are firm quarantine believers so haven't seen kids or grandkids since March. I am ready for 2021.

Well my daughter was shot, mom got cancer and covid, I had two two week quarantines due to direct exposure. So I missed a month and a half of work . My car dropped a valve. My company of 14.5 years sold my plant not sure how that will pan out yet. I predict the economy will be heading south soon.
That's the negative.
The positive
My mom is doing well, my daughter is improving, I built a 30x75 foot high tunnel and got some water lines ran to the high tunnel and for grazing . I still have a great job, I'm debt free, made plenty of money in spite missing work, found a good deal replacement vehicle. My boys had a great deer season got quite a few squirrels and now have about a dozen traps out. God is king and life is good.
Edit; I'm just not sure what this spair time your speaking of is.

Most of my boondoggles got cancelled so I used the time off to get cataract surgery on both eyes when Drs started doing elective surgeries after the initial shut down. Tried to get a knee replaced but could not get it scheduled in time to save this season so I put that off a few months.
I did miss seeing lots of folks this year. And I have sure seen a lot of things happen I would have never in my wildest dreams think would ever happen.
But I am still kicking after another birthday and am still setting a few traps under coyote's paws so it is not all bad. Going to do my best to enjoy whatever time I have left heading into 2021.

Well We paid off all our debt except our house in February, got laid off back in may. Remodeled the house and fixed and painted everything inside and out, listed the house and moved my family back to Nevada from Montana to be closer to my folks. Lost both of my grandmothers in June. Spent a lot of time in the hills with my kids. Did some prospecting, some fishing. Celebrated 1 year sober on august 23rd. Landscaped my parents huge yard, installed sprinklers and drip lines for all the sod and flowerbeds and trees I put in, fenced it, and gravelled the driveway. Helped the neighbors lay sod, helped the other neighbors build a pole barn. Did a lot of trapping. Put in for several real jobs but I haven’t got any calls back. Gonna go down to job service this week and see if they can help me find one. Odd jobs aren’t getting me where I need to be. Gonna start a nursery this spring, hopefully make enough money at it that within 5 years it can be my full time job. But I need capital to buy acreage and drill a well.
I’m sure there’s other stuff I’m forgetting but those are the highlights
