3" of wet snow on the ground. 40 degrees, coons normally move at 40 degrees. Not a coon in any set. I'm baffled. Normally I would have had 2 or more coons. Does wet snow affect coon movement ??
All I got was a possum.

I hardly see a coon out around here with snow on unless they are rutting and then just like deer who knows what they will do.

Heavy snow will stop the coons here for a few days. They still have to drink. They still have to eat. They aren't bears. Set up on cover, food, and water and when it warms up a bit you'll have them. They won't travel the country side when it's cold/snowy like they will when it's warmer but they still have basic survival needs.
