That's about all I use anymore. The safety hooks are the best they don't come off till you take them off and when they do fire there is something in them True. Regarding non-Belisles, I've heard there's ways to improve safeties, such as twisting some wire around each side of the safeties, to make them a little more like the Belisle.

I do this every year just to keep my calluses in good shape. That’s macho. I wore one and didn’t think to take a photograph at the time. I will certainly have more opportunities. This is what I thought as well.

Belisle 330 club member here. Had one across the toes ofmy boot. Was able to get my foot out of the boot but had a purple toe nail for months.
I'm itchin' to see a coyote twitchin'.
More trappin' and less yappin'.
