martyd OP trapper M Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 1,193 IA, WI, ND, IL	I have caught a lot of muskrats in my younger days but all out of bank dens and runs and baited floats. With population of muskrats going up in my area I am seeing a lot more Muskrat huts but don’t know really how you go about setting traps in the huts. Could some one post a few pictures of traps in side a muskrat hut ? Easier for us not so smart trappers. Ha ha. Thanks. MD

Sfranks trapper S Joined: Oct 2020 Posts: 72 OH	Dig the hut out youl find a chamber some have two holes some have one iv used 110s and 1 1/2 coils with extra chain or wire added.set pan tension to nothing and stick it right in front of the entrances you can also set a conibear in front of the entrance outside of the hut and runs leading to the hut itl be next weekend before I can get pics sent of the inside of a hut been working on my canine trapping here lately
