I've heard of those using those for this time of year on the line. Got one myself. But never did clarify exactly how it would be beneficial. Wondering all the possibilities. My guess would be to heat ground to be able to make trap bed. But maybe there's more uses.

I think a lot of guys use a weed burner this time of year to heat up the cement mixer to make wax dirt. I can't say I've read about people actually scorching the earth. That to me seems like an awful lot of headache and work for minimal gain.

They work great to rid coyotes of fleas. wink
Never actually thought of bringing mine out trapping before. That said, use my weed torch heating up metal to bend at times or loosen seized bolts. Used it to melt ice off equipment and was considering thAwing out crates of traps tomorrow i had set on my trailer before storm last night. Actually even gave my truck and sander engine a quick roasting one morning last month as was covered in about 1/2" of ice and couldn't open doors or start frozen sander(you definitely want to be careful doing this though as you could imagine)
