I got my first coyote ever today and doubled on coons. 4th check day in this property. In the last two years I’ve had a yote jack a stake out before I started cross staking and had a couple chew outs of snares. Sucks that’s it’s mangy and not worth anything but still a boost to my ego knowing I’m doing something right being only 17 years old lol. [Linked Image]

Nice!! I'm jealous! I'm new too but have only snared them. Have yet to catch one in a foothold.

Trust me ive had the fever since catching a coon a few years ago. Only issue is I spend more on gas than I make in fur.😂😂 oh well gives me something to do after school.

Great work. Took me forever to catch my first one in a foothold and the first one I did catch only had three legs. I think he was hungrier than the healthy ones! Lol.

Congrats again.

Great job ! Had to ditch a few mangy ones this year too.

What part of Indiana are you in ? The Indiana Trapper Association fur sale is Feb 13 in Miami county, even if you don't have any fur to sell it's a great place to talk to and met fellow Hoosier trappers. Always a good time.

I’m about an hour and a half north of Kokomo. I went to the convention and in September but planned on selling to Groenwold. Already sold him a few coons.

Congrats!

Some days I think I could trap anything anytime. Others I wonder if I’ll ever make another catch...
