Been a slow start for us. Got a couple critters early, then things slowed down. Had better past few days, mink, coon and a red fox today. Hope to get a bunch more canine sets out tomorrow and Saturday.

Anyone else seeing a slow period lately or maybe it's just me.

Things always get a bit squirrelly this time of year, especially on the land lines as the various deer gun seasons come and go.

Thanks. We set a few first of Nov., our gun then muzzleloader season ran until mid-Dec. Then daughter's birthday and Christmas a week later. Just having trouble getting set up thiis year. Wife still not at full power since getting Covud in March kept my scouting real close to home as well.

Different areas of the nation, but the crazy warm weather we have been having hasn't helped at all. Road kill deer sit untouched and cant even get a coyote to eat a fresh killed rabbit.

Best runs I had was when things got below zero at night, but we haven't had much of that. Otherwise it's been one here and there.

Same here. Hammered them in Dec, now the lines gone cold. Fresh beaver carcass left untouched for 2 weeks. Been mid to low 30's last few weeks.

Slow here as well. The only thing I'm catching in numbers is beaver.
Coyotes seemed to have moved to other parts...

I was in a "groove" (caught 2 coyotes, which is outstanding for me), then we got snow/rain/freeze/thaw, patching things together right now, best of luck!..I have caught several coon in the meantime.
