i've been goin' back and forth for the past couple of weeks w/ a non-committal wolverine. it has circled my 330 bucket set several times, but won't take the plunge. i've got a 5lb hunk of lynx sittin in there, along with some lure. i plan on setting out a decoy baited bucket in the general vicinity with the hopes that it'll motivate him to further investigate the 330 bucket. i'm assuming folks out there have tried this. i plan on doing it, but figured i'd bring the topic up to see what you guys have to say. thanks in advance.

I’ve caught a few with blind traps set right where it circles when it checks out the bucket.

I’ve also caught some smart ones with a cubby that is a little more open in the back with a second trap set there. Wolverine usually Tries to sneak in the back and get himself caught. I have a buddy who set a few decoy traps and he always ends up catching in the trap he meant to. Smart trapper he is

A #3 or 4 set in front of a bucket with no 330 guarding the bait also works sometimes

The last wolverine I caught had a choice. I had a hemlock cave cubbie, and a covered with hemlock branches milk crate set.
It went DIRECTLY to the hemlock cave. And got caught.
This has been my experience several times. For what it's worth

Just doing what I want now.

Try setting the bucket vertical. Change is good sometimes.
