I talked to a Fur buyer yesterday and he said the sale has a huge amount of fur. Don't expect to see results posted for several days. The boys are really going to be busy. So you're volunteering? There's a schedule change - will have a wolf demo Saturday morning.

Look close and you will see wire dividers in between lots. Each coyote is also marked with the lot it belongs to. Buyers know how many coyotes are in each lot so know how many to look for.

I belong to the Intermountain Furharvesters and We use a tagging gun and I am pretty sure the ITA does the same. We used to use a permanent marker on a paw but a buyer didn't like that so we went to a gun.

Colorado uses an ear tag that displays lot number, specie, and number of pelts in that lot. Each tag also has a bar code with all of the information so at check out each piece is scanned and accounted for. There is also a tag on each hanger that displays the same corresponding information.
