Does anybody make their own anchor system? Cabled or otherwise Cheers Rhino

Made a ton of cable stakes, real easy to do.
Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

Super stakes with 8" cable and 8" chain. My style of hybrid. Cable on bottom, chain top. Never have to worry about pulling the loop of cable out into trap bed. I buy ends by the 100 and cable by 1000'. Bought a bench swayed and it has already paid for itself.
Wish I had more time to trap....

Yes, no pics, but I use 1/2" pipe 3" long with a 1/4" nut welded on the outside, or a homemade loop out of #9 wire. I've used straight 3/32 cable (loaded so it's a curly q), or cable/chain. I'd use all chain, but at this point I'm too cheap.

2" pogos...buy in bulk
3/32" 7x7 cable
Make j-hooks from 20 penny nails.
Use aluminum double ferrules
Have bender
Have bench swager
Make my own drivers
On pull day I cut and go...except on my own property...I unscrew quick link....tie flagging tape so I can find if I return same season.
If you only run a few traps use chain Superstakes and dig up.
That is not feasible when I have 100 to 150 sets out.

Half inch pipe here. Cut and beat a point Weld shut on one end 45 degree cut on the other, weld a link of a 12” chain to the pipe. I pull all my anchors, guess I’m to cheap to use disposables lol. I like how chain lays down if I don’t drive it all the way in. Tried cable but I always seemed to be fighting the loop in the trap bed I load my cable like an mf...makes it about a 2" curly q. Then I bend the top loop at a 90, lays flat as a pancake...but I like fiddling with things, and fabbing stuff.

, guess I’m to cheap to use disposables lol. pretty sure most of us retrieve our "disposables" actually, since it's so easy to loosen the soil part of the way down, before pulling out.
