Depending on how many you want, a good mix would be a doz of Bridger 1.5' specials and a doz of #2 dogless. Both can be 4 coiled if needed. Maybe a few # 1 coils for pest control. JMO. But if you want to go with 1, #2 Bridger dogless is hard to beat they are built like a tank. Check out MN trap line. They are just next door.

MB 550 OS is hard to beat. I bit big for coon. A MB 450 will hold a coyote but is a bit small. Get a half dozen of each and get after it. Good luck

I’ve caught coon, coyote, and badger in mb550s. They all held great but a little more foot damage on a coon than I’m comfortable with in some cases.

The bigger trap I use for coyote and badger the better and the worse it looks when a coon comes by

A #2 is kinda big for coon so i’d add chew guards to a portion for coon. Unless I was gonna run em down drowners. I agree with this. Coon can get under the jaws and chew. I think the number 2 is more useful for different critters especially if 4 coiled and lamination on the inside might help with the coon.
