1/16 7x7 death blows I like 8' for bobcat Allan from Montana make's mine for me.

Agree with 7x7 1/16. 1x19 1/16 is good too.
8 feet long is ridiculous. Only need the snare long enough to make a 7 inch loop with a loop end for the tie off/support wire.You can hitch a looped extension if needed in open.

I agree 7" to 8" loop is all you need,it's quicker to just tie off a 6',7.8' snare off to a near by sapling {high}off the trail,in your lynx pen sets I can see you using your 2',3' snare,JMO.I have trails i use year after year getting them a few feet off the main trail ensures you can keep using the same spot year after year.
