A creek song.

Remembering back when I was a young kid in school.
Stuck inside on a hot sunny day man that seems so cruel.
I couldn’t wait until 3:15 it happened everyday of the week.
Me on a three speed Spider bike riding on down to Barren Creek.

With my fishing pole I caught plenty of fish from my favorite railroad tie
Why somebody labeled it a barren creek I often wondered why
I didn’t know where it started I was clueless to its end
I only know that many a day that creek was my only friend
