I checked out some new and old traps in person yesterday, and now I am really confused. I am mainly going for coyotes, my state regs say (measured from the inside edge of the dog) nothing over 6 inches, 4-5 inches must be offset or rubber. I am not wealthy by any means, but I don't mind spending more money if it will make things easier or more convenient. It is time for me too push that "easy button".

thanks for all the help!

I’ve been using Bridger #2 Dogless offset and like them so much I’m going to sell my regular dog-on traps and replace them with the Bridgers. These things are heavy built and virtually ready to go out of the box.

Like you, I try to spend my money wisely and when comparing the weight, pan gauge and jaw thickness against the price it looks like the Bridger #2 and #3 Dogless offer the best bang for the buck.

I have to qualify these comments with being new to this trapping stuff I don’t have a lot of experience with different brands of traps or the money and time to experiment. Good luck
