I see I assumed we were talking yotes because I forgot to to read the rest of the post. I'd go with 3 swivels and a regular shock springs aka soft catch spring I think they call it and 14 inches of chain. Make sure you don't cut the chain. bearcat2 trapper B Joined: Oct 2011 Idaho	What are we trapping with them? I've never set #1s for anything where I was worried about them destroying the stock chain that came on them. Except Bridger coils don't come with any chain do they? Still I can't see the need for a shock spring on a #1, I would use whatever chain I had laying around and a couple swivels.
