IF trapping is outlawed, it would be recreational trapping that is outlawed. ADC and research trappers (government) would still be allowed. We will just get to charge them for trapping, and make more money off of them. Back a few years ago, the anti's wanted to sterilize our overabundant deer population rather than having government hunters cull them at night. They're more emboldened than ever. No one and nothing is safe in America right now.

Perhaps some of you should consult with Newt. Have him tell you what happened to his personal collection of footholds when New Jersey outlawed their possesion.

Perhaps some of you should consult with Newt. Have him tell you what happened to his personal collection of footholds when New Jersey outlawed their possesion. Yeah, that is how they do it. One group or type at a time. But, they are more emboldened and trying for more. No different than hunters, demonizing other hunters because of how or what type of hunting they decide to do. No matter how legal that method of take is. We need to stand together and fight with everything we have. We truly are all in this together, since we are such a small segment of the population at large.

We need to stand together and fight with everything we have. When you have members of Congress and the media suggesting we need to be reprogrammed, fighting is the next logical step.

I’ll buy all the super cheap traps I can get my hands on and then use all the rest of my time and resources getting it legalized again.

As mentioned, will become more damage control work for me. Beaver, coon, coyote, badger, muskrat issues will always be around for my farmer friends.
Never made a dime off of any pheasant, deer, rabbit, or fish in my lifetime. Doing something I enjoy, getting access to some nice ground, and helping farmer friends has always been a good tradeoff for me. Access to lots of land and ponds, and they keep their trees, land, pets, fowl, farmground, and livestock safe. Im sure we will be able to find a way and will need the tools to do so to help out.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

We will just get to charge them for trapping, and make more money off of them. That's why it's important to be clear that there's no such thing as recreational trapping. You ain't going to put this cat back in the bag. They have surveys here and in Canada that prove different.
