I have had good luck with them. Had a hat made and a number of furs tanned. They have done good for me. Thank You for the reply! Was it recently that you had the work done by them?

A few years back on here you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting someone that was VERY upset with them.I never dealt with them and won't because of this. Yep! Especially with at least six other reputable Tanneries that many of us have used as well as about half a dozen other places that make products with our fur.

I live in Duluth and have used USAFOXX for numerous hats and beaver choppers and my buddy had a beaver blanket made with coyote trim. Their workmanship is absolutely excellent. I think most of the problems were as a result of the previous owner having very poor quality control of fur as it came in and I don't think he cared. He lost a bundle of my fur and some I didn't get back so he just traded me some of his fur instead, which I was not happy about but I knew I wasn't ever getting my own fur back. If it wasn't for the new owners I would have reservations but the two brothers who bought the business are doing a excellent job and I am about ready to have them make me another beaver hat. Gary J edit I don't think they tan anything in house, it's all sent out to various tanneries. I've had them send some out to tanneries and I've also brought in my tanned fur that I had tanned at Moyles in Idaho. The advantage for me is if I just drive to their store, I don't have to pay shipping charges both ways sending to a tannery myself. Gary J

It would be best if you checked out who owns and operates the company now and who owned it years ago. To give a bad rap to someone that had nothing to do with the problems ,just isn't right. Stop and think,if it was your business would you want to suffer for what someone else did--years ago? Tom

They did good for me. Maybe a bit slow, but, excellent work, that's held up for work.

Wayne's crew did a terrible job keeping people's fur straight. I dont know who Wayne is but the badger I sent was valuable on the fur market. I suspect it was sold. Either after it was turned into a hat to be peddled at a "mountain man rendezvous" or something, or put in the fur pipeline. Good badgers always have value even when nothing else does. If honest people own that company now I have to wonder how they got mixed up with the crooks. Birds of a feather flock together. I don't flock with that sort.
