Curious about the lynx population in different areas this year I’m in northern Alberta and there are definitely fewer lynx than last year the weird thing is despite having a good number of rabbits they seem real skinny , my trapline neighbors know a biologist in the yukon who told them some lynx there have worms in there kidneys, I’m skinning a few today and will cut out the kidneys and look

i am in south central AK and the population seems to be very high this year

Hares are down, lynx are up in Southcentral Alaska. At least that's what I am seeing. Seeing some big toms too. I got my biggest ever at 39 pounds!
