This is my first time putting up a beaver. When I was fleshing I found three small holes in the pelt, about the size of an eraser or smaller, sew them? I must have done it when I was skinning them. Thanks!

Are they nipple holes? Because if they are there should be 4

Yes, sew them closed.

Just curious, why would you sew a hole that small on a beaver pelt?

Appearance. It only takes a couple stitches to close them up.

Put a push pin through them and close them up. They will tend to get a bit bigger if you don't close them up as the hide dries. But It's not going to make or break you.
