I'm sure what he meant was there's too many people that had that attitude, not everybody. On some of the other trapping forums I used to belong to I ran into that,if a anti trap bill came up there was a prevailing attitude among them that they didn't need to do anything, they weren't going to pay any attention to it anyway. That nobody was going to tell them what to do.Most didn't worry about it because they said "it can't happen here".

Have alot of the same thing here in montana ahhh it will never be that way here.
If I remember right last vote here was 65percent voting to save trapping and 45 percent thinking it just isn't needed .
And they just keep picking away at it.
Gets more crazy by the day.

Thus I drive 3.5 hrs to trap in Nebraska or Kansas. After this year we're moving. Sad, but Colorado is a pit. With a worthless socialist governor and his first husband.
My kids are 6th generation Coloradoans, but we all out.

We owned a house down there, and moved .
So sold it and almost doulded the price we paid, owned it 2 years .
I beat the house we sat on in south Dakota when home stake mine closed.
I'm sure it's over flowing with people now, sad it' s good country.

CO is lost maybe forever. Watching what has happened here, if I lived in another state with a moderate climate and pretty scenery, I would be mobilizing right now to elect conservative county clerk and recorders, school board members, and house/senate reps. What you cannot do is say "I'm too busy" or "I've got to make a living" and then cede these responsibilities over to CA types bringing in their liberal ideology. That's how you ultimately end up with the crew we now have, and getting it back will be a Herculean effort. 1\2 the state thinks you are lucky to have cage traps while the antis are making a run on cage traps.

Hard to accept leaving but there may not be another choice.
