Buy them books and send em to school and your own kid can still do stoopid stuff like walk in front of the out gate where there is a 100% chance you will cross paths with your bull one last time. It is (in his defense) a great way to meet nurses, hot EMTs, and young xray techs who look good in scrubs LOL

If he had gotten hurt it would not have been funny, but since he was fine we all still razz my kid about this day when he got freight trained by a high hookin' brindle who couldn't take a good spurrin! grin

Either I am a good sire or one heck of a coach. I also taught my son that gittin off yer bronc onto a pickup man's horse was only for sissies and guys named Billy Etbaur b/c Little Billy Etbaur could still spur the rankest bronc at the NFR every year even after he got old and brittle.

My boy made every attempt to perfect my standard dismount procedure (see photo) and it sure made me proud. I knew the day someone took this picture that he was actually going to better than I ever was (at meetin' nurses)

I have never been officially tested but I have a good hand full of neighbors who ring me up when a bull they are scared of ex-scapes or better yet is locked in gladiator style combat with another bull they are scared of. The day I let them down I might worry I have low T but until then I never have to worry. I either have lots of testosterone or the worlds tiniest brain and it works out fairly well for me most of the time.

At other times, I am given the opportunity to harass low key hot EMTs, lady doctors of all ages, nurses (both RN and LPN), xray techs that look like angels, and a few orderlies that I do NOT suspect of being transgender (it is sooo stinkin hard to tell nowadays- especially 3rd shifters b/c they have all day to do their makeup and their nails and show up lookin better than some gal in a mini skirt hitch hikin after the bars close down.) sick

An ole bull rider went to Kansas turkey hunting with my son and I one year. We came across the pasture with a big ole bull lying down in it. He told my son, who was 16 at the time, that he’d give him $20 if he’d sneak out there and slap that bull. I knew my son was a sucker for a dare, but didn’t think he had it in him. This bull was huge. Well, $20 was too much to pass up, so he did it. We were all amazed at the speed of a bull that had been snoozing just fine before being slapped. We were quite impressed with the speed of my son as well. He was screaming the entire way back to hold the top wire down because that bull was gaining ground on him, lol. He “supermanned” over that fence and my buddy and I were praying to God above that that bull would stop!! Thankfully he did but wasn’t happy about it.

4 legs are faster than 2 legs but only when runnin in a straight line. If you got enough bull savy in ya, one little step to the side will save your skeletal structure for another day. If your evening entertainment would not be complete w/o meeting a pile of nurses, I recommend runnin straight and letting him get on top of you like my boy did in the original picture. cool

Great story BTW Wanna Be

Slappin' bulls works great but if ya really have a thing for nurses, hot EMTs, or mega cute X-ray technicians this is the proper way to get off the bounty bull on an given Sat night in Texas. It basically works 100% of the time.

A rodeo clown's job can't be fun either.
