Pert much the only 4 coil OS coyote trap I can get locally. Are they good Coyote traps? Just getting into this. Thoughts?

They will hold a coyote just fine. Carry some pliers with you they will bend the dogs and spring pins up pretty good sometimes.

Lots of folks use them. There are nicer traps available. You can order them from some great supply companies if you want variety or choices. I’d compare prices online before I invested a bunch in a certain trap.

Yes, they will work okay. Don’t know what part of Idaho you’re in, but there are several places get traps.
Rocky Mtn Fur - Caldwell. Northwest Predator Control - Vale, OR And there is a fellow in Ontario, OR that advertises on Craigslist that sells traps. I thought there was another by Twin Falls?

They look nearly identical to a #3 Bridger to me except they aren't baseplated.
