Still dreaming about going on a trapping trip, but no destination really in mind. What states allow you to trap rights a ways? This seems like it would really give someone a lot more opportunity to put out traps without having to line up private land in another state.

Georgia does not.

Unless you have a written agreement with local, state, or federal gov for beaver removal only.

Trapping access is different in other places in some places you would struggle to get enough ground to make it worth your time, other places it’s not that tough some tracks of National Forest have access but then other seasons get in the way.

The one thing about row trapping is the restrictions that come with different seasons mixing together. Here the coni size and snares are restricted more during the bird season on public lands. So do your homework and consider all that applies during your time wherever your going.

Almost impossible in MI, restrictions on conibear traps, only a 6 inch opening on boxes unless 4 or more feet off the ground, snare use restricted, not allowed on public land, commercial forest land, if the road frontage is along private property, must have property owners permission, if it is along public land, restrictions as above.

Call the G&F in the states you’re interested in an have them send ya a copy of their regs. Then go from there.

Trapping permission is easy to get nowadays. I'd line up several properties and go get em.

If you wanna water trap id go Iowa. With low prices your competition and theft will be very low compared to other years.

Long haul from Alabama to trap $3 raccoons in Iowa, but if he wants to, our regulations are very friendly to out of state trappers.
