Buck (Zandra) trapper B Joined: May 2011 Posts: 2,494 Garden,Michigan	Personally,I found the period from about '75,when I first trapped,to about '78 maybe '79 as the most memorable.After that with prices as high as they were trappers,would be trappers and thieves seemed to be around every tree.Thievery,fighting,and wild accusations were common here on state land. I had a few over two hundred rats and averaged a bit over $13 gross at NAFA that season. That year they lowered their commission to 6.5% so my net was pretty nice. Now I am selling similar rats for about $4.00 with no commission. Bryce

Early on I was told the the population in the Horicon area was down. How this all factors in the total harvest...again hard for me to say. Richard
