So I have 4 1 gallon glass jugs of rat scrapings. They are at least 4 years old and they aren't tainted In any way. What should I add to the mix to make a decent coyote bait/lure?

Seems like it would work for all land animals. Around here especially opossum.

I would think it would work as all by itself

Might be tough to grind without plugging up the grinder, I put most of my scrapings in bread bags then freeze it like a loaf of bait for cat trapping.

That's funny, but I think it sounds like a good idea smile

'Just hope the wife does not reach for a loaf of bread

Different freezer the ones my baits in she won't go near that one. The bait bricks fits in by barrel cubbies and are easy to keep from being exposed but it's a good hunk of meat, I fill the bread bags with rat carcasses also for bait bricks.
