Picked up this #1 jump jaws measire 4w by 4.5L inches at a flea market along with a few other random traps but I cant seem to indentify a manufacturer. Cleaned up with steel wool the only marking I can come up with is "512" awkwardly stamped on the pan like it was done by hand. Anyone have any ideas? Hopfully the pictures uploaded im just learning my way around.

The chain says Blake & Lamb. B&L traps were notorious for having lightly stamped pans. Given the amount of pitting on the pan, it’s not surprising you can’t read it. The number stamped on the pan is most likely a Trappers mark, identifying the trap as his.

Looks just like the one I picked up yesterday.

It probably came from Ma as they use a number on traps in place of a name. And yes it looks like a B and L.
