Yep, click bait. Interesting and timely article in the Wisconsin trapper mag. BMP study on traps for anyone with a slightly open mind. Maybe we could learn something. I've read the article but not the study yet. Let the debating fun begin! I am enjoying the article. It is a little difficult to pick through the charts. I need to print a couple things out. Thanks for posting.

Unfortunately all i have is a phone to look at the data. Looks like your right on the need to print some of this stuff out. With all the codes, charts ang graphs it gets to be a frustrating bunch of mumbo jumbo. Lol
I wish they could break this stuff down into layman's terms. Did l miss an easy to read summary?

From what I gathered from the coyote study, big (heavy) traps caused more injuries. Next was regular jaws. Padded and offset with lam we’re about equal on average. 4 coiling seems to help as well if I read it right.
Padded were least efficient and the rest were about equal. There were a lot of outlier data on many charts, so making very many generalizations would be difficult, especially with the limited types of traps.
