Today is national vietnam Veterans Day. I will be wearing my jacket and cover today in recognition of the day. Hope all the veterans have a good day. The one person that I would like to thank is the corps man that patched me up it was quite an experience.

Thanks to all the Vietnam vets. I never got there. I had two assignments to go, but both times the folks I was replacing extended.

'Nam was Dads 3rd and final war, during his 34 yr Army career. THANKS to all you vets. AND, don't forget to check out https://thefallenoutdoors.com/ to open hunting and fishing ops in all states for y'all. Some of you might be able to teach a few to trap as I've been able to do as well. We host a few hunts on the farm yearly and encourage all to get involved. Here's a TFO group from a couple yrs ago, 2 were still serving actually.

Thanks for that picture Sharon. It became a postage stamp in 2000 I believe. That was my outfit.....B troop 1st squadron 9th cav., 1st Cav div. going into Chu Lai. I was there when that picture was taken. I knew all those guys but can only recall the name of the guy still on the skid waiting to jump. Patton was his name and easy to remember because of the WW2 general. My best to all of you gentlemen

You are welcome, Sir Ken .
It is wonderful to have this day in specific thanks to VN veterans, though every day is one of thankfulness too.
My father, WW2 decorated fighter pilot and gunner, saw VN warriors in mighty salute of respect and honor. We waved the banner of welcome home, to them all when they came back. He always said, they were the best men who ever lived. A heartfelt compliment from a soldier who had a remarkable record in his service , himself , in the Navy.
This day of appreciative remembrance should have been initiated as soon as our beloved came back ...and for the ones who did not...

Some of this is what started the loony left....and just got worse! Thanks to all vets, but thank you for the day!
