Yep.helped themselves to a few belisles and mb750's.Not to mention the drowning rods and hardware. It sucks,hope to not find who did it. I have some nice shiny jewerly for them if i catch them.
Has to be kids without rubber boots. Didn't take the other 2 750's. That meant getting their feet wet. Got the ones they could reach without getting wet or muddy.

Lost a Belisle last week on private property. Found out they've got a neighbors nephew who likes to go for walks on everyone's land w/o permission. They've talked to him about it several times but he's not going to change. Can't prove it was him but most of the other neighbors think so. Couldn't have been one of my Dukes instead....

Probably steal the camera too, stinking scum. I hate thieves

Sarge, I feel your pain... I lost 4 330s one day, my last 330 had a snapping turtle...they left that one. So I removed the turtle and re-set the trap...next day it was gone! grrr

Maje sure to report the stolen traps to you local warden incase the scum uses your traps illegally and doesn't remove your tags. Otherwise theres usually not much they can do.

Here theft and tampering is a deputy sheriff thing, I turned in a tampering last fall, nothing became of it, its a waste of time because it's not important enough of a law violation

Stamping your initials on frame of traps can help identify your traps in some cases. It solved things once for me

It was bound to happen sooner or later. People get curious and figure things out quickly nowadays. Thankfully the job is finished. I made good profit, but the loss took away any profit for that day. Will right it off on my taxes and re-order new supplies when paid. Sarge

I had my 2020 honda rancher stolen off my lease right at the end of deer season. Wish I knew who did it. I am in asset protection so I catch thieves for a living. Kinda makes it feel like a slap in the face.

In this day and age, criminals seem to be protected...I know it sucks, but that's what we're letting them get away with!

I remember a story about the mountain man Joe Meek who was traveling with a group lead by I think Walker in either Utah or Nevada. There was an easterner traveling with the group taking in the "great west" and as he went with Joe to check traps they came across a "digger" indian doing something around one of Joe's sets. Joe raised of his long gun and flopped him.

Joe's companion demanded to know why he had done that as he wasn't stealing the trap! Joe's response: " But he looked like he was going to".

That sucks!! They need a load of rock salt shot at them that’ll fix it.

Rock salt would be spectacular!!!

It’s a good thing you guys don’t catch them because they would end up taking your trapping away with what y’all would do to them. lol
