I have some nine year old wolf glands (anal gland, bladder with what little urine was in them, fatty hock glands) that I was thinking of making some gland lure out of. Figured on using some coyote urine because I've never been impressed with any boughten wolf urine. And was wondering what else, if anything, to add to them. Maybe some tonquin?

They have been aging in a jar in the rafters of an outbuilding for this entire time, so are well rotted/aged.

Bearcat - I'm not a lure maker by any stretch, but had luck grinding up wolf glands and putting them in coyote urine. Only thing I added was some xanthan gum to thicken it up into a paste. Has a very "pow!" in-yer-face wolf stink and a little goes a long way. Been using the same jar for a few years.

Thanks, never tried making a gland lure, but saved some out of wolves when I first started, thinking I would some day.
