Where do you buy your 3/8 ceramic/plastic rod for the hagz brackets?

I need new ones for my electric garden fence.
Old ones sharded out after 20 years.

Any farm supply store unless you need long ones.

I wouldn't go with anything but the 6' rods. You can use them in shallow water and the deep water. The 4' rods only help in shallow areas. You need to think of how deep you put them in the mud and how deep the water is - one foot in the mud and you can only set 3'.

I didn't like the fiber glass rods so I welded the Hagz brackets to my home made devise so now I can use wood stakes.

The farm stores carry the 4 ft. rods. I didn't want to pay shipping for the 6 ft. rods so I cut a few of the 4 ft. rods in half and sliced the halves to the 4 footers. Now I have some 6 ft. rods and some 4 ft. rods for various water levels. Love the Hagz brackets!

Geotek industries in Stewartville, MN makes and sells the fiberglas rods in various thicknesses and lengths. We got talking and when they asked what I was going to use them for, I said, muskrat trapping. They laughed and said they’ve sold thousands of them for that purpose.

I ordered some from Kencove fence supply , but I would pick them up if your close to them . I ordered them 3 weeks ago still no shipment has been delivered and when I called them about it they will not give me a tracking number but they will look it up and blame it on ups so who know what’s really going on .

If you are only setting a few dozen of these, if you got a local metal supply shop you can pick up 3/8 rod in 20ft sticks cheaply enough and either have them cut em to size or do it yourself
