nice , and that is a great price even if it needs the seals rebuilt

I had one when I was a kid.Awesome shooter.Found out if I pumped it up 20 times I could drill a hole clear thru a starling.Don't do it.....I did it one too many times and ruined the gun

And found out for another $50 I can get a nice scope base for it, still less then a brand new set up ! grin

I have a .20cal/5mm I got from my dad and grandfather for xmas when I was around 12. You couldn't fit all the critters I killed with it in a 1 bedroom apartment stacked floor to ceiling. I sent it off to Tim at Mac 1 in California to get his steroid kit put in it. Now it can be safely pumped 14 times instead of 8 and at 6 pumps shoots the same fps as it used to with 8. I need to get a new scope for it.


That's s good price. Enjoy it. That scope kit looks like it is awfully high and will make a good check weild difficult.

An air rifle takes a different scope than one you would use on a rifle. I found that out when I tried to shoot with a standard 22 rifle scope on a RWS I had. After a couple of shots, it would be off target.

My doctor suggested I start doing squats, so I moved all the beer to the bottom shelf of my fridge.

That only applies to springers like the RWS that rely on a compressed spring piston to provide the air compression. Since the piston is released on the trigger pull they have a forward recoil impulse that standard scopes can not handle.

Precharged pneumatics and pump guns have on board reservoirs and do not suffer from this.
