They do work well. Problem is they are big compared to other traps. They can be a little tricky to set until you’ve really practiced. Always set it holding onto the front of the trap and not the sides where the loops close against the frame. They (aftermarket, not Nash) sell a tool that cuts the 2 slits in the ground for the loops and it also pushes the tunnel down a little for the trigger pan to lie on. If you have any fabrication skills one can be welded up pretty easily. With the tool, these traps go in the ground very quickly and easily.

Thank you Tony. I’ve caught many many moles in in the victor oos traps but sold all of mine a couple years ago. Now they are junk so trying to find another option. Picked up a couple Nash traps and set them today. We’ll see.

Ended up setting two Nash traps with in a good run. Both were fired but only one had a mole. So they do work I guess. Dead mole is a dead mole.

Duffus trap from molecatching.com...you will also need a tunnel probe. I’ve had very good success with Duffus traps.

Theflatpack company sells quality traps as well.

Both also sell talpex traps which would be a good trap for those who were fans of original victor oos traps.

Do not buy cheap imitations of Duffus traps as they are junk.

I have a few of them, but they are my least favorite. They do work so-so though.
I use a tree planting tool for making slots for them
