I have read/watched loads of trapping information. Not this one though. I like reading/watching everything and then gleaning off what I think pertains to me. Nothing but nothing replaces time in the field in the long run

I bought it awhile back and it covers just about everything dealing with trapping in adverse conditions. I highly recommended it, l used his method of making wax dirt last summer. You won’t be disappointed.

He does a nice job with his photos and descriptions - very detailed write up and explanations. Definitely a helpful reference book for the novice land trapper.

Whenever I make a perfect set a possum of some such trash messes it up. Ima make imperfect sets but I will try to read that book when I see it somewhere.

I bought this book a year ago, very good read. Getting ready to go through it again as I've got plenty of time and seems like everytime I read it, I find something I missed.

I don’t know Mr Fahler, but what I do know after reading his books is that
1- he writes in a nice style
2- he knows his material
3- he understands English
4- he understands grammar and punctuation
5- he takes great photos
6- he has a really good editor
7- you will like his books and not be tempted to cuss about wasting your
money, unlike the majority of trapping books out there which make
trappers look like we are a sack full of hillbilly ars@@@les.
Thank you, Rich, for doing such a nice job.
And, NO, I don’t have a man crush on him, we have never met.
