Hey guys, a week ago I planted about 6 or 7 different varieties of peppers in my garden. I’ve noticed that for some reason, my dozen jalapeño plants have all died. All other peppers are still alive and well, but every single jalapeño plant shriveled up and died. Any idea what happened? Thanks!

... did the leaves start dropping first ? .... what’s the temp and moisture been like ? ... too wet will kill them and too dry.... as well as extended periods of cool weather

Insert profound nonsense here

I prune all my tomato and pepper plants for a higher yield.

Mine did the same thing all16 plants , but I think i burnt mine up . I did something different this year someone told me they put a tums In the hole when they plant it and a few match sticks around the plant , so I thought I would try it and I did . It didn’t take long to figure out i shouldn’t have done it .

If they were seedlings that were started indoors and then moved directly to full sunlight in the garden could possibly be the issue. Best to "harden off" seedlings when moving from indoors to outdoors by setting them in a shady spot for a few days before transplanting.
