Those in the Alaska should have a near full Ring of Fire view

Nothing to see here but clouds.

Was supposed to be the best view here as it came up over the horizon. We had a layer of clouds that blocked it's view for the first 15 minutes. By the time it was visible, it was only 2/3 eclipse - maybe half. Very easy to see through my welding helmet. Without the helmet the sun was still so bright it looked just like the regular old sun. I wouldn't have even known anything was different and you can't see the sun clearly enough to make out any details like an eclipse - it's too bright.

Wife got some crappy pictures though the helmet. Camera wanted to focus on the inside of the helmet instead of the sun.

It was interesting but once was enough. I'll probably sit out the next one.

Yea, I've seen several but still take a peek if I'm in the mood.

The last one was pretty neat, it actually got darker out like it was cloudy.

Clouds in the east, clear in the west this morning, just my luck.

I'm waiting for the news report that AOC claims it was caused by global warming.
