I'm heading up to camp this weekend and plan to construct a few cubbies for the upcoming season. We have a pile of cinder blocks that I thought would be useful for some "permanent" cubbies. What approximate dimensions should I build them to? Target species will be fisher, coon, and fox. Thanks.

For Fisher and coon I'd make them a little bigger than a 160 coni

I guess It depends on what size traps your going to Use. And are you going to use BGs or foot holds.
A 160 BG will be just fine for fisher and coon. And I've caught a fair number of red fox In 160 trail sets. You just have to get the fox to commit.

I've made many cinder block cubbies where he ground is too rocky for stakes. They work great, the coon will be there waiting for you with it's head shoved into one of the holes fast asleep. Hard part is getting them in to where you need them.
