You western folk sure do have nice scenery. Been to Texas a few times and never saw anything near green like that Leftlane......jk jk - I've heard said that you can't eat scenery. To my way of thinkin' though, it ain't the meat and potatoes on my plate, it's the scenery that makes me full. Jack

Funny you brought up the porkys. Just yesterday I got a text and was told to get that knothead dog in the house. Porky waddling up the drive way. I forget the cost from two years ago to local vet to pull quills out'a knotheads mug but do not want a repeat . Haven't seen any porkys down in Jack's country but quite a few Badgers as I (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) foot trying to get speed goats to co operate with me and my stick and string. The pix Gary put up reminds me of Meadow Lake above (use to be ghost town) of Gilmore.. Soooo dang pretty up there. Would liked of bought a couple lots in Gilmore but I would have to live there myself is what the other half of 59 years together threatened. Not wanting to hijack this but Jack do you know Dr. Tom Carlson outa Leadore? Really a great fella.

Deek -
Am assuming you got "knothead" corralled before he got himself quilled. Yes, badger numbers seem to be quite good. Don't know Tom Carlson from Leadore; sounds like my loss. Actually, I know 'bout three of my neighbors, and since I don't ever go into town or do any social activities, I don't really know anyone else around here. You gonna be flickin' sticks at the goats again this year?
Jack

Hornady - Fine lookin' field. Around here, with the drought and the heat, I've not seen anything that green for over a month.
J Staton - Nice lookin' 'maters there sir. Again, with the weird weather we've been seein', we've got a few blossoms on the 'maters, but no fruit has set on yet. Hopefully soon.
Deek - Please, if you ever get down this way, stop in for a beer and a knife. One'll be cold, the other, not so much!
Jack
