Picked up a handful of traps at a yard sale in town today. the 3 long springs are the same , size zero Triumph, the 4th one is a zero coil spring, I think it is also a triumph, I can't read the pan. the interesting trap is the one that has triumph stamped 3 different ways on the pan. any comments would sure be appreciated. thanks.

#0 Kangaroo...You did well finding those traps...I wonder if that one is a stamp-over...Perhaps it says Oneida under the Triumph???

If you don't mind my asking (although it is probably going to hurt my feelings) how much did you give for those??

The 4th trap looks more like a jump than a coilspring.

Make sure you do your research and get multiple opinions before you sell that 4th trap. You will probably be getting several PMs with offers to buy it.

I’m not going to put a value on it because I’m not that sure about it but it is definitely valueable.

So Nancy, do you believe that the fourth one is a stamp-over??

Yes. In my opinion, the word GAME under the top TRIUMPH is a clue. I don’t think there were any traps marked TRIUMPH GAME. But I could be wrong.

If the OP would post this on the Trap Collectors forum, there might be more opinions offered.

Well Redknot, I'm going to let you figure out how much they cost. there was a total of 11 traps , we spent 580.00. and had the back of our Outback piled almost to the ceiling with antique type stuff. Just bid on the whole pile and didn't even look closely at the traps until we got home. that is the fun of buying piles of stuff, when you get home it is fun to figure out what goes in the collection and what will hopefully sell. This is the best answer I can give you.

Cool find.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.
