Was going to fix up a bucket of old #2 Vic square jaw. What Victor replacement springs should I use? Do the #2 round jaw ones fit?

Yes, but you really don't need that much power of you're going to use them for rats/ mink.

I got the universal #2 music wire springs, they fit right in. I have a thread on here a few pages back called building 1.75's basically took some old number 2 sq jaws and replaced some parts to make them 1.75 Victor's, turns em into a pretty good canine trap

If you're just using them for mink and rat I'd probably just try some 1 1/2 springs, give em a better snap without being overpowered for the smaller critters
