Nice to see someone taking the time to do the original straight 6 rather than slapping in another "yawn, boring" Small block chevy or LS engine.

Old cars are so much more interesting with something unique under the hood, and an original 6 banger is certainly that.

Thanks.

I like original restored stuff, car is done 12 year's ago the 1957 was done frame off by my Dad.
And I'm doing the 1969 Chevy pickup now, slow but sure.
Takes a lot of time to get them done right.

Let me sugar coat this

I used to like car restoration.....then I made it a job. Lol. Current project I'm doing for a customer. It's getting stock 383. I've put a lot of LS engines in cars that shouldn't have them

I missed him saying the CID of the motor. I had a 250 in a 71 C10, and a 292 in a 67. Great motors.

Helping my son do a frame-off complete restoration of a 72 Blazer. Now we are cleaning every part that will not be painted, and powder coating them. The body should be ready and painted later this month. Engine block and components are ready to pick up. Ready for upholstery soon. The transmission is complete. Transfer case and axles have not yet been touched, except for draining. The vehicle was shipped to NC from Arizona. Had a dead scorpion in a rear drum.
