Sleep apnea is no joke, if you think you have it you need to get a sleep study ASAP. My dad stopped breathing over 70 times the night they did his. He lost some weight and that pretty much solved the problem but he did have the cpap for a while. Sleep apnea WILL kill you if it goes untreated. You’re pretty much rolling the dice every time you go to sleep, eventually you’ll just quit breathing and won’t wake up.

What are symptoms if that bad ?

Tired and achy all the time because your body can’t get good rest and can heal properly. Snoring, which you won’t know about unless someone else tells you. You feel very groggy and lightheaded when you wake up because your oxygen levels are low.

My dad only went in because mom started noticing he stopped breathing for way too long way too many times at night. Dad hates doctors and hospitals. But he would likely be dead right now without them and he’s only 60.

If you wake up some or most nights with your heart beating loudly in your ears and heat spreading through your body . There is a good chance its your adrenal system firing off when your blood oxygen level gets low from not breathing . If this happens to you you are playing Russian roulette. One day your Adrenal system might misfire and you not start breathing .
